Murder	The willful (nonnegligent) killing of one human being by another.
Manslaughter	The willful (nonnegligent) killing of one human being by another.
Rape, total	Total rapes
Rape, forcible	Through 2012, legacy definition: The carnal knowledge of a female forcibly and against her will. Rapes by force and attempts or assaults to rape, regardless of the age of the victim, are included. Statutory offenses (no force used-victim under age of consent) are excluded. 2013 revised definition ("forcible" removed from the offense title): Penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim. Attempts or assaults to commit rape are also included; however, statutory rape and incest are excluded.

As a temporary measure, we are reporting 2021 values when they appear to be valid using a simple formula.
